Comet, Cupid, Dusty and Duster

A mega dust storm from Sydney reached Brisbane this morning. The sky outside my windows is eerily orange, and I am lying here typing this post now in a room awashed in sepia.

I'm pretty sure if I went outside now, I'd be able to finger-draw pretty pictures on my dust-covered car.

How bad is this?? I hope it goes away soon, I'm finding it difficult to breathe!

I made poached eggs for breakfast today, for the first time in my life :D

The first attempt was a disaster, but the second egg came out beautifully. Good thing Eddie remembered Bjorn's expert chef tips just in time.



Taadaahh... Homestyle eggs Benedict, with poached eggs and premium smoked ham on wholegrain toast! Didn't have lemon to make hollandaise sauce, so I used sliced Bega cheese instead, which melted on the hot egg, and topped it off with a sprinkle of dill.



Absolutely yums.
