The sweetest thing

I was watching a choppy movie on the old telly in the living room.

"Come watch it in my room," he says, "it's better on the big screen!" (referring to his new flat screen TV)

"But don't you need to study?"

"Don't worry, I can study with the TV in the background."

So I watched the movie in his room. He was lying on the bed next to me with his book open in front of him.

After a while I started wondering how he could be so amazingly undistracted by the movie... I glanced over and saw that the darling had his fingers stuffed into his ears, poring over his textbook with the greatest look of concentration on his face.

No you are not being caring and considerate and as how you may perceive yourselves to be, I do not want to answer your questions and you are coming across as being nosy and insensitive.
