Even though it's still a couple of months away, pretty tin mooncake cases have already made their way to the shelves at Yuen's.
I'm not overly enthusiastic about mooncakes. The only things I like about them are the skin, and the yolks inside. The lotus paste in between is just too disgustingly sweet for me. Which is why I usually buy mooncakes with 4 yolks in one mooncake.
If I had my way, I would just wrap yolks in mooncake skin...
But since I can't have that, here's the next best thing-
A whole piggy made of mooncake skin
(at least that's what it tastes like).
