Eyes wide shut

It is 10.16pm.
I am wide awake.
The boyfriend and the kitteh are snoring beside me already.
The boyfriend in periodic alternates of snorts and lawnmower drones; the kitteh in little squeaky wheezes.

*Sigh* so cute my two darlings.
