You know what my favourite thing is when I order duck rice/chicken rice/BBQ or roast pork rice in a Chinese restaurant?

The SOUP.



Whether it be watercress soup or carrots and kiam chai or chunks of juicy wintermelon in pork broth or stock, it never fails to make me homesick cos they taste so much like my mom's homemade soups :(
